Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, they are. Plus, we created our products with your baby’s tender skin in mind, so you can enjoy your skin-on-skin experiences and kiss away your little one with no worries.

Do your products contain parabens, sulphates, petrochemicals, silicones, PEG?

No, they contain none of those. Furthermore, we avoid fragrances (parfum), essential oils and alcohol, to minimize the risk of skin sensitization.

Where are your products made?

All Mellow Muses products are made in Germany.

Our Philosophy

Are your products cruelty-free?

Yes, we do not test any of our ingredients or finished products on animals. We ensure our products are cruelty-free every step of the way. Animal testing is banned in the EU.

Are your products vegan?

Yes. You will not find any animal-derived ingredient in our products.

What else do you do for the environment?

Let us highlight something that is rather unique in the skincare market.

Mindful of our resources on planet Earth, during the development phase, we pushed the boundaries and looked for ways to create cosmetic products without energy-intensive heating. We can tell you ‌this was complicated, because the easiest way of mixing water and oil - which are not holding together easily – is doing it at high temperature. This comes with its own consequences.

1. It needs time and energy to heat the content of those big mixing vessels full of ingredients up to 70-85 C degrees and then cool them again with continuous stirring.

2. It can also degrade heat sensitive actives and oils, or limit the dosage that would eventually result in less effective products. 

For these 2 reasons we put effort into optimizing our production process that consumes less energy. As a result, 4 of our products can be mixed at room temperature, and we use heating only to melt a very few percentages of our ingredients. 

The production process can be an underestimated aspect of sustainability, but it isn't the one to ignore. We are proud of being persistent about this one, even if this was a challenging part to resolve. 

What does natural-organic certification mean?

Our products are made from ingredients acceptable in natural cosmetics, biodegradable and environmentally sustainable. Additionally, the majority of our ingredients are organically farmed. The % of organic ingredients is available for each product on its page, under “INCI”.

Orders and Shipping

Do I need to create an account to order?

You don’t need to create an account to shop Mellow Muses products. However, by creating an account you will get exclusive access to:

• your current orders and an overview of your past orders

• saved delivery information for quicker checkouts in the future

Can I track my order?

Once your order is on its way to you, we will send you an email with a tracking link for detailed shipping information.

Can I cancel my order?

Once you make an order, we process it immediately. If you wish to cancel or change your purchase, please contact us as soon as possible at support@mellowmuses.com and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major payment methods:

Credit/Debit cards: VISA, Master Card, Maestro, American Express and Diners


Is it safe to use my card on mellowmuses.com?

Yes, it’s safe to use your credit and debit cards. We process all purchases through a secure checkout system: Shopify Payments and PayPal. By encrypting your card details in a secure host environment, we made sure all your information is protected.

Where do you ship?

We ship to all EU countries.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, we do. We offer free shipping for all orders over 100 €.

Returns and Refunds

Can I return my order?

Yes, we do accept returns. Kindly note that you can only return items in their original packaging that have been unused, unopened and sealed. If you would like to return your order, you have 14 days from the day you have received your Mellow Muses package to do so. Contact our customer service at support@mellowmuses.com and they will take you through the process smoothly.

Do you do refunds?

Yes, we do refunds. If you have returned your items and we have accepted them, we will refund you within a week, the same way you’ve completed your purchase.
